Surfacing as a landscape for immigrants from Russia then Italy then the Dominican Republic, East Boston is an infrastructure shaped by its culture, by its people. The buildings themselves are simple, uniform and modular, but the culture and the difference of occupancy has created a large variance in the area. This is the idea to be reinterpreted in the urban renewal of Maverick Mills, an old Sewing Mill in East Boston. By using geometry to start to manipulate modular geometry, the math itself begins to portray an idea of individuality among an urban mass.
